Battery and charging
Choose a battery kit by what is actually in the box
“Blower included” does not tell you whether a listing arrives ready to use. A kit may contain only the tool body, one battery and a charger, or a second battery and a higher-speed charger. Check the exact suffix, battery capacity, charger description and accessories on the manufacturer page before comparing prices elsewhere.
Separate body from battery bundle
Within the reviewed EGO family, LB4800 is body only and LB4803 includes a 2.5 Ah battery and standard charger. LB5300 is body only; LB5302 includes a 2.5 Ah pack and standard charger. LB5800 is body only and LB5804 includes a 5.0 Ah battery and standard charger. LB6150 is body only; LB6151 includes a 2.5 Ah battery and standard charger; LB6153 is a 4.0 Ah kit. LB6500 is body only, LB6503 uses a 4.0 Ah pack, and LB6504 a 5.0 Ah pack. LB6700 is body only and LB6703 supplies a 4.0 Ah battery and 320 W charger. LB7650 is body only, LB7654 has one 5.0 Ah battery and 320 W charger, and LB7654-2 has two 5.0 Ah batteries with a rapid charger. LB8800 is body only; LB8803-2 contains two 4.0 Ah packs and a 320 W charger. EGO marks LB5754 discontinued; this site keeps its assessment for identification, not as a current purchase suggestion.
Those are package differences within shared blower families, not different airflow bodies for every suffix. Box contents still matter: a battery you already own may make a tool-only package useful, while a new owner may need a matching pack and charger before the blower can run. Check whether nozzles, strap or battery are separately listed as included or optional.
Do not translate Ah directly into work time
A higher amp-hour capacity means a different battery capacity, not an exact number of minutes. Runtime depends on the blower’s selected speed, boost use, battery state and operating technique. Manual runtime tables and product-page “up to” figures can use different conditions. The LB7650 manual and current page, for example, do not present the same air-speed/runtime language; the LB8800 manual’s one-battery times are not the same condition as the LB8803-2 kit claim with two batteries.
For an extended cleanup, a second pack may provide a charged replacement while the first cools or charges. It does not run simultaneously on a single handheld blower unless the manufacturer’s exact tool is designed for that setup. The LB8803-2 is the reviewed 880 CFM kit with two batteries; it uses one installed battery on the blower at a time. Check charger output and charging times from the exact battery and charger documentation if your schedule depends on them.
Check fit and warranty, not just compatibility
Manufacturer platform compatibility does not mean the pack is included. Confirm the precise battery type, charger and kit number in the offer. The listed bare-tool weight does not include a battery, and the reviewed manuals do not provide total package operating weight for the assembled handheld tool. If a carrying limit is essential, ask for a measured installed weight for the exact pack and nozzle rather than relying on body-only weight.
Warranty terms can vary by residential or commercial use, refurbished status and whether you buy through an authorized retailer. Compare the exact purchase channel and current manufacturer warranty terms. Then use the finder to require only the equipment you actually need; the kit comparison explains how the reviewed packages differ.
