Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does your operating plan need two batteries installed together, or a one-pack handheld kit?
The exact product page and linked manual say this blower uses two 24V 4.0-Ah packs together to make the 48V (24V x 2) system. A one-pack requirement is incompatible. Ask Greenworks to verify the included battery labels and any applicable current safety notice before purchase.
Explore this need in the finder →Is 600 CFM enough, or is a higher published airflow minimum essential?
Greenworks and the SKU-linked manual publish 600 CFM / 150 MPH. A 600-CFM floor includes that manufacturer claim; a minimum above 600 does not. These are not independent field measurements. Verify the included battery labels and current safety status before purchase.
Explore this need in the finder →Must an exact included charger be documented as rapid, or is a confirmed standard charger acceptable?
The exact package lists a 100W Type-C charger, but Greenworks does not classify it as standard or rapid. Wattage alone should not be used to infer either charger class; if the class is essential, confirm the charger model before purchase.
Explore this need in the finder →A two-pack 48V blower kit, not a single-pack 24V tool
Greenworks identifies the exact U.S. kit as BL58502, SKU BL48600A1: a handheld blower with two 4.0 Ah 24V batteries, a 100W Type-C charger and two cables. The title describes 48V (24V x 2), and the linked manual requires both packs and lists 48V (24V x 2). This is not a one-pack 24V blower. Keep one page inconsistency visible: a short specification field says “Voltage | 24V,” while the title, detail copy and manual describe the two-pack system. BL48L4410 is a separately reviewed two-pack handheld alternative with a published 585 CFM claim.
What the 600 CFM figure does and doesn't answer
The exact product page and linked manual agree on 600 CFM and 150 mph. That puts a clear boundary in a comparison: a 600 CFM minimum includes the published claim, while a strict minimum above 600 does not. The figures are manufacturer specifications, not our measurements of clearing time or performance on wet, matted leaves. CFM describes the claimed volume of air; it does not say how long this two-pack setup will run on a particular yard.
The controls are a variable-speed trigger, cruise lever and Turbo button. The manual says Turbo selects the highest speed and drains batteries fastest, so “up to 67 minutes” is not a maximum-output guarantee. The page gives no runtime test settings or load and states 110 minutes to recharge without clarifying whether that means one battery, both packs or simultaneous charging. If uninterrupted work or a firm turnaround matters, verify the charging arrangement rather than treating either figure as guaranteed.
The useful difference is the battery-and-cable package
Unlike a bare-tool listing, BL48600A1 includes both 4.0 Ah packs and the charger. Greenworks says the battery Type-C port can charge electronics and that the 24V packs fit more than 200 of its tools. The exact battery part number, charger ports and whether both packs can charge together are not identified. The package includes two 3-foot cables, but no standard/rapid charger class is specified; 100W alone does not establish “rapid.”
Safety status needs a direct answer before purchase. CPSC Recall 26-611 and Greenworks' current notice identify specified Kobalt-branded 24V/48V USB-C products, not Greenworks BL58502. The Greenworks page says its batteries have Type-C device-charging capability but does not give their exact part or lot. That similarity does not prove this kit is recalled; its absence from the Kobalt model list also does not clear the battery or serial. Ask Greenworks to check the exact battery label/serial. The reviewed notices establish neither a recall finding nor a safety clearance for this kit.
Weight, nozzle and function are not fully settled
Greenworks lists 8 lb “with batteries,” but does not say whether all required tube/nozzle pieces are included in that ready-to-use figure; the manual gives no tool-only weight. Treat 8 lb as a maker-listed battery-installed value, not a guaranteed assembled mass for a strict cap. Feature copy mentions a concentrator nozzle, but the package list does not itemize nozzle shapes or establish an extra attachment. Verify the exact contents if a specific nozzle matters.
This is a dedicated blower, not a vacuum/mulcher with a bag, and the kit has no trimmer. If bagging leaves is essential, compare a true blower-vacuum such as EGO LV5000/LV5005. For higher published handheld airflow, compare Greenworks BLB479 or BL80L414; their exact package differences are assessed separately.
Who should keep it on the comparison list?
BL58502 is useful to compare when a two-pack handheld kit, 600 CFM / 150 mph claims, trigger, cruise control and Turbo matter. A 600 CFM floor fits its published claim; a higher minimum does not. One-pack operation, bagged collection, a numeric sound/force floor, a required rapid charger or a strict assembled-weight cap are not established here. Unknowns do not count as passes.
Decision: BL58502 / BL48600A1 is relevant when comparing two-pack 24V-platform blowers, but do not treat it as a purchase choice until Greenworks identifies the exact batteries and confirms how the current recall notice applies to their labels or serials. No product photograph is shown; confirm the exact model number and included kit before relying on a picture elsewhere. The evidence supports the operating facts above, but not battery-level safety clearance or a substitute image.
