Greenworks Pro 60V 700 CFM cordless blower review

A handheld 60V brushless blower sold tool-only, without a battery or charger. Greenworks publishes maximums of 700 CFM and 170 mph; the product page and linked manual disagree about weight basis.

BL60L02 is model 2419502T, a tool-only 60V configuration. Use the exact model label when selecting compatible battery and charger; Greenworks' 60V platform is distinct from its other voltages.

A useful fit for

This tool-only blower is a plausible comparison for an existing Greenworks 60V owner who already has the appropriate battery and charger and values its published 700 CFM / 170 mph maximums. The page lists concentrator and flat nozzles plus a shoulder strap; those included pieces are the product's differentiating package facts, not proof of an all-day work rating.

The main tradeoff

The box does not include a battery or charger. A new buyer must account for compatible 60V power separately, and the page's up-to-50-minute low-speed claim assumes a separately purchased 5.0 Ah battery. Published weight claims conflict, while force and sound are not numeric; strict weight, operating-load or dB(A) screens cannot be met from unknown values.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Do you already have Greenworks 60V batteries and want the blower body only, or must a battery and charger be in the same box?

BL60L02 is the tool-only option: the exact page says its battery and charger are sold separately. It can satisfy a tool-only purchase condition, but a kit requirement excludes it.

Is a published 700 CFM maximum sufficient, or do you need more airflow on paper?

The exact page and BLC402 manual both list 700 CFM. A 700 CFM floor can match; a 701 CFM floor is above the published maximum. This is not an independent clearing-time test.

Do you need both the concentrator and flat nozzle plus a shoulder strap to be in the package?

The exact What's Included list names a concentrator nozzle, flat nozzle and shoulder strap. These items are confirmed for this tool-only package; the battery and charger are not.

A higher-output 60V body sold without a battery

The Greenworks BL60L02 is a handheld 60V brushless blower whose product page and BLC402 manual both list 700 CFM and 170 mph maximums. The crucial word in its package title is “tool only”: Greenworks says the battery and charger are sold separately. That makes it a better fit for a buyer who already has compatible Greenworks 60V power equipment than for someone expecting one box to be ready for a first cleanup.

The product page lists a variable-speed trigger, cruise control and a Turbo button. The manual explains cruise control as a lever that holds the selected speed; Turbo is the temporary higher-output setting. That control range is more useful than treating the 700 CFM figure as the only setting. A lighter debris pass can be done at a lower setting, while boost is available for a difficult patch, with the battery cost that comes from demanding more output.

What the tool-only box does and does not include

Greenworks' exact “What's Included” list names the blower, a concentrator nozzle, a flat nozzle, a shoulder strap and the manual. It does not list a battery or charger. That gives this model a more complete attachment package than the page descriptions for the BL60L251 and BL60L253, whose exact included-nozzle lists were not clear in the material reviewed. If a concentrator nozzle is essential, this fact belongs in the questionnaire: the BL60L02 page names it directly, and the other kits should not pass on assumption.

Greenworks states up to 50 minutes on low speed when paired with a separately purchased 5.0 Ah battery. The manufacturer also says a separately purchased rapid charger can recharge in 50 minutes. Those are conditional product claims, not a pack included with the SKU or a guarantee under every speed and debris condition. The linked manual lists compatible 60V battery models and charger families; check the label on a battery and charger you already own rather than assuming every Greenworks device is interchangeable. The product page says the 60V battery family spans more than 75 tools, not every Greenworks voltage.

Weight is an unresolved comparison, not an advantage

Greenworks' product specifications list 10.14 pounds as Product Weight without clarifying what is weighed. The linked manual gives a different number, 5.3 pounds without the battery. Since the page is a tool-only configuration but its stated basis is not clear, neither number should be used as a reliable exact-model handling limit until the manufacturer reconciles it. The battery adds weight in use, but its weight is not established here; do not combine an unknown pack mass with either number.

The same restraint applies to force and sound. The page gives CFM and mph, but no manual-listed newton figure or numeric 50-foot dB(A) rating appears in the material reviewed. A product description that calls a tool quiet or powerful cannot satisfy a strict acoustic or force threshold. Weather resistance is not established as a rating, and the manual advises keeping the battery tool away from rain and wet surfaces.

Who benefits from the package split?

For a current Greenworks 60V owner, the BL60L02 avoids buying another battery and charger in this product package. For a new buyer, the comparison should include the cost and availability of a suitable pack and charger, without relying on invented retail prices. If a kit is more convenient, the BL60L251 supplies a 2.5 Ah pack and charger with published 610 CFM / 130 mph maxima. The BL60L253 also includes one 2.5 Ah pack and charger and lists 660 CFM / 180 mph. The BL60L02's published maximums are higher at 700 / 170, but buying eligibility is not a score: the right choice changes if the existing battery, exact package or nozzle requirement changes.

The BLC402 manual is shared across BL60L02 and BL60L512; the product page specifically identifies the BL60L02 SKU as 2419502T. Its ownership instructions include eye and hearing protection, keeping bystanders 50 feet away, dry-use limits and battery removal before cleaning or maintenance. Greenworks lists a four-year limited tool warranty. Read the manual and current warranty before use.

In the finder, BL60L02 can match a battery-powered handheld request for a tool-only package, a 700 CFM minimum, or a required concentrator nozzle and shoulder strap. It must fail a request for an included battery and charger. A 701 CFM threshold exceeds the published maximum, and a strict weight or sound cap cannot be satisfied by the unresolved data. The assessment uses manufacturer claims, not a personal ownership account or independent performance test.
