A useful fit for

Fits an existing compatible WORX 20V battery owner who wants a light body and multiple small cleaning attachments for dry hard surfaces. It is not a self-contained kit or a full-size yard blower.

The main tradeoff

The tool-only package avoids duplicating battery/charger equipment, but the battery must be planned separately and real working weight/runtime are unknown. Its 80 CFM and no-collection design limit the work to light, dry cleanup.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

Does the WG545.9 meet a tool-only request when I already own a compatible battery and do not need a charger in the box?

Yes. The U.S. WORX tool-only listing names WG545.9, and the model manual shows no battery or charger included.

Can I use the WG545.9 tool-only package for short, dry hard-surface cleanup if I already have a compatible battery and do not need leaf collection?

Yes for limited, dry hard-surface work with a separately supplied compatible 20V pack. The manual excludes large lawns and wet/heavy debris; the 80-CFM published figure is not a 250-CFM-plus threshold, and the battery is not included in this SKU.

Is the WG545.9 suitable if vacuum/mulching or cruise control is mandatory?

No. It is a blower-only tool with a manual on/off switch; neither collection nor speed-hold is documented.

Choose the WG545.9 only when the battery decision is already settled

The WG545.9 is the tool-only version of WORX’s small 20V AIR sweeper. It is not the same purchase as the WG545.1 kit: the U.S. manufacturer tool-only listing names the .9 model, and the shared family manual marks its battery and charger rows as not included. The manual still shows the small set of compatible cleaning attachments for this configuration. That package can make sense for a household that already owns an appropriate WORX 20V battery and wants the compact blower body, but it is a poor match for someone expecting a ready-to-run box with power included.

What the blower body can and cannot do

The manual’s exact model table gives WG545.9 a 20V Max system, 12,500-rpm no-load speed, and 120-mph blow-speed figure. WORX’s family product page lists 80 CFM for the AIR. These are published specifications rather than independent measurements. The combination is easy to misread: a high air-speed figure does not turn this into a high-volume leaf blower. In practical terms, the narrow jet is better suited to light, dry debris on a short stretch of patio, steps, or driveway edge than to sweeping a deep layer across a lawn. The manual expressly says this residential tool is not designed to clear leaves from large grassy areas or move wet, heavy material.

WORX’s U.S. family page also advertises multiple small accessories, and the manual’s model-specific table lists a wide nozzle, dust brush, inflator nozzle, dust tube, extension hose, short tube, detail brush, deflation cover, and accessory bag for the WG545.9. The table does not list a battery or charger for .9. Product-page copy describes eight blower attachments and a bonus deflator, while its itemized box language and the manual organize those pieces differently. If you care about one particular tip, verify that exact accessory rather than choosing by the headline number.

Weight and battery compatibility need their own answer

The WG545.9 table lists 2.7 pounds as machine weight. Since the same package chart shows no battery included, that number is a bare-tool reference, not a ready-to-use weight. Your actual operating weight depends on the compatible battery you install, which the exact .9 package does not supply. A strict maximum operating-weight question therefore cannot be answered from the bare-tool figure. The tool is handheld; it is not a backpack blower, and no shoulder harness is needed for the short cleaning tasks it is designed to handle.

WORX identifies the 20V Power Share family as its shared platform. That can make this model attractive to an existing owner, but the exact .9 box does not include a pack or charger. The manual supports the 20V Max family and lists specific pack and charger entries for other WG545 packages; those kit items should not be silently transferred to the tool-only carton. Plan for a separate compatible battery and charging setup before relying on it. No runtime promise is implied by the battery platform, and the manufacturer material reviewed here does not establish a useful job-duration figure for a selected pack.

Keep the operating plan narrow

The model has a simple on/off switch, not variable speed, a turbo button, or cruise control. It blows only; there is no vacuum conversion, mulching blade, or collection bag. Use it to move loose dry debris into a pile, then pick up the pile separately. The manual’s safety guidance calls for outdoor residential use, keeping the tube near seven inches above the ground during a side-to-side sweep, avoiding hard objects and nearby people or pets, removing the battery before adjustment, and storing the unit indoors and dry. This is straightforward care, but it reinforces that the AIR is a small accessory-oriented blower rather than a wet-leaf or all-yard machine.

What the finder should do with your answers

Requiring a battery tool, handheld format, no collection, no included battery, and no included charger can select WG545.9 when you already have the power source. Requiring one battery and a charger instead should select the WG545.1 package, not .9. A minimum of 300 CFM excludes both AIR versions; a 120-mph number does not change the 80-CFM ceiling. Requiring vacuum/mulching, a variable-speed trigger, boost, cruise control, or a three-pound ready-to-use limit also makes the .9 a poor match. Unknown battery-in-use weight and runtime must remain unknown rather than being guessed from the 2.7-pound bare-tool number.

Bottom line: The WG545.9 is a narrow-use, light bare tool for someone who has verified access to a compatible WORX 20V battery and wants the AIR accessory set. It is not the economical choice if a battery, charger, more airflow, adjustable speed, or leaf collection must come in the box. Compare the WG545.1 for the kit, or move to a larger blower such as the WG547 when regular yard clearing takes priority. See the WORX WG545 family page and WG545 family manual.
