Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the published maximum clear the finder’s lowest 480 CFM floor?
No. Husqvarna’s product page reports 470.74 CFM at the round nozzle, below the finder’s 480 CFM minimum. The manual’s normal-mode figure is lower still; maximum and normal values are different published conditions.
Explore this need in the finder →Does exact SKU 967 91 55-04 include a battery and charger?
No. It is the tool-only configuration with zero batteries and no charger; the manual lists approved pack and charger models that must be acquired separately.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the bare blower body fit a 5.6 lb maximum before adding a battery?
Yes on the available body-only entries: the page lists 5.51 lb and the manual rounds the no-battery/no-nozzle mass to 5.5 lb. That does not establish complete operating weight.
Explore this need in the finder →A light bare tool with a round nozzle
The Husqvarna 525iB Mark II is a handheld battery blower sold here as tool-only, exact US SKU 967 91 55-04. The listing includes a round nozzle and single harness but no battery, charger, or vacuum kit. That distinction matters more than the name’s Mark II suffix: someone starting without compatible Husqvarna power equipment must budget for an approved pack and charger, while an owner with a model specifically listed in the manual can avoid buying duplicate batteries. It is not a ready-to-use kit just because the blower itself is complete.
The body weighs 5.51 lb in the product-page table, which also labels the same weight as excluding the battery; the 2025 manual gives 5.5 lb without battery and nozzle. Those are close rounded figures, but neither is a complete carry weight. The battery can materially change the feel of a handheld tool. Husqvarna’s manual approves BLi200, BLi300, 40-B220X and 40-B330X packs, from 5.2 to 9.4 Ah, and QC330 or 40-C500X chargers. Do not assume a B140 pack or another Husqvarna battery fits simply because the brand’s wider lineup uses BLi-X names and 36/40 V labels.
Normal work and maximum claims are not interchangeable
Husqvarna lists up to 470.74 CFM and 131.98 mph at the round nozzle, with maximum blow force of 17 N. Its manual separately gives normal-mode airflow of 11.0 cubic metres per minute (about 388 CFM) and 105.1 mph with the standard nozzle. It documents boost and cruise control, but its technical table does not supply the corresponding boost airflow figure. The product-page maximum and the manual’s normal-mode number should therefore not be read as conflicting measurements of one setting—or as independent test results. They describe different published conditions and do not guarantee a particular leaf-clearing time.
A variable trigger lets an operator sweep at a controlled pace, cruise control holds a chosen speed, and the boost button provides extra airflow for short harder sections. This can be a practical combination for repeat cleanup around paths and beds, where a modest setting may be preferable to blasting dust and mulch everywhere. A round nozzle is supplied; the manual lists other nozzle accessories separately. The machine is blower-only, so it will move debris rather than vacuum it into a bag or mulch it.
Where it sits beside the 530iB
The 525iB Mark II is the lighter choice on the page and accepts a broader set of manual-approved battery sizes. The 530iB is heavier by roughly half a pound before a battery, but its manual documents higher airflow and a higher Boost ceiling. That comparison is useful only if the battery plan also works: the 530iB manual approves 40-B330X or BLi300 packs and higher-output QC500 or 40-C750X chargers, while the 525iB Mark II manual also lists smaller packs and the QC330. The 525iB does not become a kit through this comparison, and the 530iB’s better published airflow does not make it automatically the more sensible choice for short light cleanup.
For a household buyer, the 525iB’s professionally oriented feature set may be unnecessary if the main job is a small driveway. Its 36 V motor, cruise function and compact bare body can interest a homeowner already invested in the listed packs, but full-time professional-use positioning is not proof that every user will value its runtime, sound, or battery cost. The product page lists 85 dB(A) at the operator’s ear and 100/101 dB(A) measured/guaranteed sound power. The manual also reports 64.4 dB(A) normal and 66 dB(A) boost at 50 ft using an ANSI bystander method. These are not interchangeable sound measurements, and they do not establish quiet operation at a property line.
Match the package to the cleanup routine
This tool-only model is best considered by a shopper who already owns one of the exact approved packs and charger, wants a handheld round-nozzle blower, and prefers its published 17 N maximum over a collection function. If a pack and charger must be purchased too, compare total equipment needs against a complete kit from another platform instead of comparing bare-tool numbers alone. If an included battery is essential, use the finder’s package question; this SKU should fail that requirement. If a minimum airflow, force, or complete carry weight is strict, the page’s peak specification and body-only weight cannot answer every practical question.
The product is currently listed on Husqvarna’s US battery-blower catalog, but exact-model CPSC status has not been established. It remains a specification reference and is excluded from buying recommendations; that is not a recall or no-recall conclusion. For an eligible alternative, compare the EGO LB5804 handheld kit or use the finder’s airflow and package controls. If higher airflow is central, see the 530iB assessment, keeping its battery compatibility and safety-status limits in view.
